Air Force Heritage Flight to perform flyover at 103rd Indianapolis 500

The U.S. Air Force is scheduled to kick off the Indianapolis 500 May 26 at approximately 12:25 p.m. with a special Heritage Flight flyover. The formation will consist of an F-16 Viper, A-10 Warthog, P-51 Mustang and a P-40 Warhawk.
The United States Air Force Heritage Flight Program presents the evolution of United States Air Force air power by flying today's state-of-the-art fighter aircraft in close formation with vintage aircraft, dramatically displays Air Force history, and proudly supports our Air Force's recruiting and retention efforts. The Air Force Heritage Flight program honors the sacrifices of those who have served or are currently serving in the Air Force through participation in these flight displays.
The teams representing the Air Force in the Heritage Flight for Super Bowl LII are the F-16 Viper Demonstration Team from Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, the A-10 Thunderbolt Demonstration Team from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, as well as a P-51 Mustang and P-40 Warhawk from the Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation.
